Day 21: When the world is on your mind . . . don't forget your family

I walked out onto the Oval tonight thinking I was going to bump into people and talk to them about Jesus . . .
. . . things worked out a little differently than I had planned.
Jumping back a little just imagine me ALL jazzed up, yet calm, and ready to go out on the Oval :-)
While I was sitting at the computer getting ready to leave I felt like I should IM my sister. I asked her if I could call her since it was a little late and she said that it was fine. The deal was that God has been doing the most AMAZING things in my life and AIM just wouldn't cut it.
We talked for a bit outside in the parking lot and I told her about one of the STRIGHT MIRACLES God has been doing in my life when she tells me that she is on her way to pick up Jacob. A few minutes later he hi-jacks the phone and we have the longest conversation we have ever had.
It started with a question he had about Mary and it just sort of spun into everything else.
Looking back I don't think I have ever had such a balanced conversation with him.
It felt so natural.
My guy is in the 9th grade and is playing football so with the world coming at him faster and faster each day it just felt like there was no time to waste.
When our talk was finished I let him know that I was always available and that he could call me up whenever he wanted.
As I walked back I couldn't help but think, "This was a good thing"
Lesson learned
Share Jesus with your family because it's not guaranteed that someone else will?
Bonus:
The fire is catching at No Turning Back Now!
WHO'S NEXT!?!?!?
