Day 38: Even when I'm rushing . . .
With school starting next week some of us Chi Alpha folk went out to make sure our posters get up by in time for the returning students. We found that there are new rules that state posters must go through student housing before they can go up in the dorms.
The cool deal is that they give out the posters to all the dorms now which can be time consuming to do on your own as a group when you are trying to canvas a school of over 50,000 people.
After all of this excitment it was off to get some food followed by work.
I won't kid you. I was in a rush.
Nearing Cain's with about ten minutes to go no one could stop me until . . . someone stopped me :-)
This guy on the street asked me a question and I gave him an answer while walking away.
Than I turned around and gave him another answer. A better one.
Now it was prime time for my question.
It turned out that this guy believed in Jesus and was sure about his salvation and how he has it.
He mentioned that he may not always live the life but he knows enough and is trying.
After a few more words it was over and I made it to work on time.
Lesson learned
Don't forget that your time is His time. There is no hurry you are ever going to be in that He can't put on hold for His will to be done.
It's just like this line in one of my favorite movies:
Jack: I'm in the middle of a deal!
Angel: Well, you're working on a new deal now, baby.
Praise Jesus!!!
God bless kids :-)
