Day 32: New friends :-)

Today some XA folk and myself went around taking pictures before Chi Alpha when some guys randomly started talking to one of my friends.

Eventually everyone left to go somewhere to take more pictures when I noticed that one of my chums was still talking. The conversation up to this point was mostly about a business proposition when my friend mentioned that they had church on Sunday morning.

Somewhere in here the God talk began. About a half-hour later this guy is asking a lot of really good questions about being a Christian and how that should look. He isn't a fan of being a part of a Church or Christian group and had some concerns.

The chatting went really well and his friend who had jetted for a while came back just in time to listen to my response to one of those harsh questions you might know of. We let them know we had to go and the first guys friend asked me if I played ultimate frisbee out of nowhere.

HOW COOL IS THAT!?!?!?

PRAISE JESUS!!!

I let him know that I like to play but that I'm not that good (I know some goooood players, hah!) and he was cool with it so we exchanged contact info and with that we were gone.

OH! My friend traded info with the first guy so that was really cool too.

Lesson learned

God clears the way for His truth to come forward

He gives you the words to say and the confidence to say them when things get tough

Trust Him and you will never be sorry. Believe me. Try it.
