Day 48: Random meetings

Tonight I ran into this guy and I talked to him about Jesus.

The first thing I asked him was if he believed that Jesus was the the Son of God.

All this after I asked if I could ask him a question in the first place.

It turned out that he did believe that Jesus was the Son of God but my new pal was unsure about how to get to Heaven so we chatted some and than parted ways.

After that I had rocks thrown at me by some crazy guys and as I was walking away watching the rocks bounce off of cars and whatnot all around me I thought to myself, "Am I gonna get hit by a rock?"

What if I got hit by multiple rocks?

This all by the way wasn't because I tried to share Jesus with them.

Honestly, I was a little worried but I just kept walking with my head looking forward. I had this feeling that if I looked at where the rocks were coming from or if I ran as fast as I could I would get hit.

Not one stone touched me PRAISE THE LORD!!!

There's a lot I got from this experience.

Lesson learned

No matter what rocks the world throws at you just focus ahead on Jesus and you will be more than alright.

Something else hit me too. What if I was ever told that I would be stoned by . . . some government or group of people for my beliefs? What would I do?

My prayer is that I would keep walking out the road marked out for me just like I kept walking calm and cool even though rocks were falling and bouncing all around me.
