Day 47: Walking back from work
So I just got out of work and it's about 5:17AM . . . fun stuff.
I ran into this guy on High street and asked him what he thought of when he heard the name Jesus.
He told me Savior.
It turns out the guy is saved and I asked him if he shared Jesus with anyone.
His response was that he talked about Him at church.
My prayer is that he would talk about Jesus outside of church.
You can pray too.
After that it started to rain pretty hard and as I was walking down Lane Avenue I saw another guy down the way. I sped up to catch him and prayed that I would if I was supposed to. After a few blocks I was near enough to yell and he was turning so I did.
I yelled, "HEY!"
The guy turned around and jetted away as I was waving for him to come over.
This kid looked like he was about to rob a gas station or something and I had this strong vibe that I should try hard to get ahold of him.
Whatever the deal was I liked the feeling I had when I was trying to catch up.
It was like . . . this is important ya know?
Sheesh, I'm off to bed because I'm getting up early to go to the post office, play some football, and check out College Game Day which is in town and a block away from me tomorrow to cover the Ohio State vs. Penn State game.
Lesson learned
Try to get hungry for sharing the Gospel.
The moment you are you will remember that nothing can compare with that feeling.
God bless and goodnight or . . . errr, goodmorning :-)
